I am an Australian historian, author and
curator working across a range of areas that have
significance to our understandings of social history, public policy and
contemporary Australia.
I am passionate about connecting communities through outreach and
collaborative approaches that empower diverse and marginalised voices
from across Australia to share their stories. I hope you enjoy learning about my research and recent oral history projects.
ABOUT ME
I am an historian and curator with a PhD in Australian History from the University of Queensland in Brisbane. I have authored a number of books and I am active across a range of fields. I also advocate for LGBTIQ rights and volunteer with a number of community groups.
MY PROJECTS
I play a leading role in building and promoting oral history collections. I am also committed to uncovering previously hidden histories and making use of public exhibitions and events to draw attention to individuals and communities often left out of our history books and national collective storytelling.
